The Interpreter
When I was younger, I always wished I were bilingual. I imagined speaking another language and connecting with people in ways I couldn't before.
It took me years to realize I became an interpreter instead.
Not between English and Spanish, but between business and technology. Between legal and operations. Between procurement, finance, project teams, executives, and vendors. Every group speaks a different language, shaped by different priorities and perspectives. My career has been helping those perspectives come together so organizations can make better decisions.
For more than twenty-six years, I led complex technology procurements, negotiated contracts, developed Statements of Work, and managed strategic initiatives within a state law-enforcement agency. Looking back, I realized those weren't simply contracts or projects. They were opportunities to create alignment, build trust, and turn complexity into clarity.
That same need shows up in every organization I work with now: talented people trying to make good decisions while speaking past one another. The work I do today is an extension of what I learned in those early years—clarity comes from understanding first.
Today, I partner with public and private organizations to navigate procurement, contracts, technology, AI, and strategic initiatives. My role remains the same: ask thoughtful questions, connect the dots, and help people see the full picture before they decide.
Our Purpose
To help leaders make clear, confident decisions when procurement, contracts, technology, and AI converge.
“Complex problems rarely need more information. They need better interpretation.”
— Angela Githens
Our Philosophy
Most organizations already have the expertise they need. What they need is someone to ask the right questions, connect the dots, and create shared understanding across disciplines.
Lasting solutions emerge when people feel heard, aligned, and confident enough to act.
“Complexity isn't the problem. Misunderstanding is.”
— Angela Githens
